1. INTRODUCTION

The Board of Directors of Oppstar Berhad ("the Board") wishes to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Oppstar Technology, has entered into the Agreement with MIDA for the use of ARM Limited's ("ARM") Flexible Access ("AFA") Token - Entry Tier under the strategic cooperation programme between the Government of Malaysia and ARM Limited.

Following the official presentation ceremony and press conference held on 11 May 2026 where the Government of Malaysia announced the collaboration framework, the definitive Agreement governing the exact operational parameters was formalised and dated 21 May 2026. The fully executed document was subsequently received by the Company on 25 May 2026.

The engineering design and software tools provided under the Agreement will be utilized for the Group's ongoing front-end engineering research and development project to produce an AI SOC (System-on-Chip) for low powered edge AI devices with 12nm specification ("Project").
