1. INTRODUCTION

The Board of Directors of MTG is pleased to announce that Sediacom Sdn. Bhd. [Registration No. 201101003546 (931684-W)] (“SSB”), a subsidiary of MTG, has on 23 October 2025 accepted a Letter of Award from a contractor involved in electrical and civil infrastructure works ("Company A"), relating to the sub-contract works of supply, delivery, installation, testing, commissioning, completion and maintenance of electrical external infrastructure works (“Sub-Contract Works”).

Company A, incorporated in Malaysia under the Companies Act 2016, is principally involved in the supply of electrical accessories and the provision of contract services. For confidentiality and commercial reasons, the identity of Company A will not be disclosed in this announcement.

2. DURATION AND VALUE OF THE CONTRACT

The total contract value awarded to SSB is RM10,680,000.00 and the project is expected to commence in October 2025 and complete by June 2026.

3. FINANCIAL EFFECTS

The Sub-Contract Works will not have any effect on the share capital and substantial shareholders’ shareholdings of MTG and its subsidiaries (collectively, "MTG Group"). The award is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets per share of MTG Group for the duration of the Sub-Contract Works.

4. INTEREST OF DIRECTORS AND/OR MAJOR SHAREHOLDERS AND/OR PERSONS CONNECTED TO THEM

None of the Directors and Major Shareholders of MTG and/or persons connected with them have any interest, direct or indirect, in the Sub-Contract Works.

5. DIRECTORS’ STATEMENT

Having considered all aspects of the Sub-Contract Works, the Board of Directors of MTG is of the opinion that the acceptance of the Sub-Contract Works is in the best interest of the Company.

6. APPROVAL REQUIRED

That Sub-Contract Works is not subject to the approval of the shareholders of the Company or any other relevant government authorities.
