(The definitions used in this announcement shall have the same meanings as that used in the announcements made on 14 February 2025 and 18 February 2025 ("Announcements") unless stated otherwise.)

Further to the Company's Announcements, the Board of Directors of MTG is pleased to announce that MTWCSB, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, had on 6 January 2026, received a letter from TNB where TNB has further exercised its right to request for optional value of RM32,861,741.10 ("Optional Value").

The Contract value had previously been revised to RM109,539,137.00 subsequent to two addendums entered into between TNB and MTWCSB on 2 April 2025 and 10 November 2025. With the exercise of the Optional Value, the revised Contract value now amounts to RM142,400,878.10.
