We refer to the Company’s announcement made on 16 January 2026 in respect of the Civil Suit instituted by the Plaintiff against IBSB and the Company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, SDBP.
The Plaintiff has filed their Notice of Appeal dated 13 February 2026 (“Notice of Appeal”) to the Court of Appeal, Malaysia against the decision of the Shah Alam High Court made in the Civil Suit on 16 January 2026 (“Decision”). Through the Decision, the High Court had allowed SDBP’s Notice of Application dated 6 October 2025 to strike out the Plaintiff’s Writ of Summons & Statement of Claim dated 28 July 2025 against SDBP with cost of RM5,000-00 to be paid by the Plaintiff to SDBP. SDBP’s solicitors were served by hand with the sealed copy of the Notice of Appeal on 23 February 2026. SDBP will respond and oppose the Appeal.
The Company will make the necessary announcements to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad as and when there are further developments in relation thereof and/or upon receipt of any further directions by the Court.
