The Board of Directors of Pekat wishes to announce that its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, E & LP Engineering Sdn. Bhd. (“ELP”) had convened an Extraordinary General Meeting on 27 February 2026 and it was resolved that ELP be wound up by way of Member’s Voluntary Winding-Up (“Winding-Up”) pursuant to Section 439(1)(b) of the Companies Act 2016.

ELP was principally engaged in the distribution of electrical products and accessories, and its total issued share capital is RM500,000.00. ELP ceased its business operations in 2023 and has been dormant since then. ELP is not a major subsidiary of Pekat Group.

The Winding-Up of ELP is part of Pekat Group’s continued initiative to eliminate unnecessary administrative costs in maintaining dormant subsidiary.

The Winding-Up of ELP is not expected to have any material impact on the net assets and earnings of Pekat Group for the financial year ending 31December 2026.

None of the directors, major shareholders, chief executive of Pekat and/or any persons connected with them has any interest, whether direct or indirect, in the Winding-Up of ELP.
