The Board of Directors of Tomypak Holdings Berhad (“THB” or “the Company”) wishes to provide an update in relation to the operational status of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Tomypak Flexible Packaging Sdn. Bhd. (“TFPSB”).

Due to the current liquidity constraints, TFPSB is currently operating under a Board-approved temporary trading framework to prioritise the fulfilment of existing customer commitments while the Company progresses its ongoing funding initiatives.  The duration of the temporary operating framework will be determined by the level of funding raised and the near term production requirements of TFPSB.

At this juncture, production activities continue at moderated levels and there has been no cessation of operations nor termination of any material customer contracts. The Board is currently unable to reliably ascertain the financial impact arising from these developments.

The Board remains actively engaged in overseeing the situation and is progressing funding initiatives aimed at supporting TFPSB's  operational continuity.

Further announcements will be made as and when there are material developments in accordance with the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
