The Board of Directors of the Company wishes to announce that Ming Pao Holdings (Canada) Limited, an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, had entered into a Sale and Purchase Agreement with Cyclone Range Hoods Inc. to dispose of a property in Canada, for a total consideration of CAD9,900,000 (equivalent to approximately US$7,148,000 or RM28,654,000), subject to the terms as stipulated in the Sale and Purchase Agreement.
