| Working experience and occupation | Dato' Sri Abd. Shukor bin Ibrahim has over 33 years of experience in the Malaysian public service under the Administrative and Diplomatic Service (PTD). He spent a significant portion of his career at the Ministry of Finance Malaysia and served in various senior positions across other key ministries, including the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and the Ministry of Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry, further broadening his experience in public administration, economic policy and government procurement. He was appointed Deputy Secretary-General (Development) at the Ministry of Education Malaysia, his final posting prior to retirement, where he oversaw development planning and the implementation of nationwide projects. Following his retirement, he served as a Member of the Public Services Commission of Malaysia from 2015 to 2018. He has also held board positions in several government organisations, including the Penang Port Commission, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), Perbadanan Kemajuan Ekonomi Negeri Perak (PKENP) and Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM). |
