| Circumstances by reason of which Securities Holder has interest | Became a substantial shareholder of EWI Capital Berhad (formerly known as Eco World International Berhad) ("EWI") with effect from 15 May 2026, following the transfer of all of Dato' Leong Kok Wah's ordinary shares in Syabas Tropikal Sdn Bhd ("STSB"), the holding company of Sinarmas Harta Sdn Bhd ("SHSB"), which in turn holds shares in Eco World Development Group Berhad, the holding company of Eco World Capital (International) Sdn Bhd ("EWCI"). Both SHSB and EWCI hold direct shareholdings in EWI.
Upon completion of the said transfer, Tan Sri Dato' Seri Syed Mokhtar Shah Bin Syed Nor became the major shareholder of STSB, which results in him having indirect interest in EWI. |
