The Board of Directors of Yew Lee Pacific Group Berhad ("Yew Lee" or "the Company") refers to its earlier announcements dated 26 November 2025, 28 November 2025, 26 January 2026 and 27 January 2026 in relation to the flood incident at the manufacturing facility of its subsidiary, Yew Lee Pacific (Thailand) Co., Ltd. ("Hatyai Factory").
The Board wishes to announce that the final confirmed losses and insurance claim values arising from the flood incident are as follows:
Flood Damages
i. The total confirmed flood damages amounted to THB 3,401,325.45 (equivalent to approximately RM0.414 million).
ii. The total insurance claim in relation to the flood damages amounted to THB 3,305,113.84 (equivalent to approximately RM0.403 million), after taking into account the applicable 10% deductible, resulting in a final insurance compensation amount of THB 2,974,602.46 (equivalent to approximately RM0.362 million).
- Water Damages (Minor)
i. The total confirmed minor water damages amounted to THB 48,778.56 (equivalent to approximately RM5,940.99).
ii. The insurance compensation received in relation to the minor water damages amounted to THB 48,778.56 (equivalent to approximately RM5,940.99).
The Company has received the full insurance claims as at to-date
Based on the information available to date, the Board is of the view that the flood incident is not expected to have any material adverse effect on the earnings, net assets or gearing of the Group.
