Reference is made to the Company's announcement dated 12 June 2026 in relation to the Change in the Nature of Business of Tawau Cocoa Estate Sdn. Bhd. ("TCE"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Teck Guan Perdana Berhad.

The Board of Directors wishes to clarify that the inclusion of oil palm nursery and seedling activities is related to the Group's existing oil palm plantation business. As part of its plantation operations, the Group has been carrying out replanting activities and managing oil palm seedlings for its own use. 

To ensure a stable supply of quality seedlings and support future replanting needs, TCE has expanded its activities to include oil palm nursery operations. The Group may also undertake the sale of oil palm seedlings to third parties when opportunities arise.
