Mr. Farizul is a strategic finance leader with over 20 years of experience across listed companies, government-linked institutions, and multinational corporations, with a strong track record in financial turnaround, governance, and enterprise transformation.
Prior to this appointment, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Human Resource Development Corporation (HRD Corp), where he was responsible for financial strategy, governance, and oversight of funds exceeding RM4.0 billion. He successfully drove a significant uplift in financial performance, including a more than threefold increase in surplus before tax, alongside strengthening governance, transparency, and fund utilisation.
He previously served as Chief Financial Officer of MYNIC Berhad, where he led enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, including business model optimisation and strategic procurement reforms to enhance operational efficiency and financial sustainability.
His earlier career includes leadership roles at PR1MA Coporation, edotco Malaysia Sdn Bhd (an Axiata Group company), and IBM Malaysia, where he held regional statutory and finance leadership positions across multiple jurisdictions. |
