PROPOSED PRIVATISATION OF AMB BY WAY OF A SELECTIVE CAPITAL REDUCTION AND REPAYMENT EXERCISE OF AMB PURSUANT TO SECTION 116 OF THE COMPANIES ACT, 2016 ("ACT") ("PROPOSED SCR")

Unless otherwise stated, all abbreviations and definitions used herein shall have the same meaning as those used in the announcements dated 22 June 2026 and 29 June 2026 in relation to the Proposed SCR ("Announcements")).

 

Reference is made to the Announcements. On behalf of the Board, Maybank IB wishes to announce that the Board (save for the Interested Directors) has on 21 July 2026 deliberated on the contents of the Proposal Letter and after taking into consideration the advice of the Independent Adviser, has determined to accept the Proposal Letter, and had resolved to table the Proposed SCR to the disinterested shareholders of AMB for their consideration and approval.
