We refer to the article titled "Lotte resumes sale of Malaysian, Indonesian petrochemical assets" published by The Korea Economic Daily on 17 August 2026 and the article titled "Korean parent to dispose of Malaysia-listed Lotte Chemical Titan" published by The Edge on 18 August 2026 as well as similar news published in other media platforms in relation to a proposed sale by Lotte Chemical Corporation ("LCC") of its interest in the Company.

We wish to clarify that after making due enquiry, we understand that LCC is considering various strategic measures related to the Company without making any decision thus far.

The Company will make the necessary announcement as required by the Main Market Listing Requirements should there be any further update.
