Petron Malaysia Refining & Marketing Bhd. ("PMRMB" or the "Company") refers to its announcement dated 21 May 2026 in relation to the collapse of the product jetty at the Company's Port Dickson Refinery during Tropical Storm Senyar on 28 November 2025.
The Company wishes to provide the following update on the replacement of the product jetty (the "Project").
- The necessary debris removal and marine clearance work in relation to the collapsed product jetty have been completed to enable the Company to commence construction works.
- In this regard, piling works at sea for the new jetty is in progress, and construction of the replacement jetty structures will follow.
- The Company continues to work closely with the relevant authorities to obtain the requisite permits, licenses and approvals necessary for the completion and commissioning of the Project.
The target commissioning of the new jetty remains on track for the first quarter of 2027. The Company will make further announcements on any material developments in relation to the refinery operations and / or the Project as and when appropriate.
