Bonus issue of 1,279,135,359 new free warrants in Berjaya Assets Berhad ("BAssets") ("Warrants") on the basis of one (1) Warrant for every two (2) existing BAssets ordinary shares held at 5.00 p.m. on 6 June 2018
Each Warrant entitles the holder of the Warrant to subscribe for one (1) new BAssets Share at the Exercise Price at any time during the Exercise Period subject to the provisions of the conditions as set out in the deed poll dated 21 May 2018 constituting the Warrants ("Deed Poll"). Any Warrant not exercised during the Exercise Period will thereafter lapse and cease to be valid for any purpose. As the Maturity Date for the Warrants falls on a non-market day (i.e. on Saturday, 10 June 2023), the Maturity Date shall be the market day immediately preceding the non-market day (i.e. on Friday, 9 June 2023) pursuant to the provisions in the Deed Poll.
