We refer to the Company’s announcements dated 1 July 2022 and 1 August 2022 in relation to the submission of an application for an extension of time to comply with Paragraph 8.04(3) and Practice Note 17 of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) (“Listing Requirements”) (“Application”).

The Board of Directors of the Company wishes to announce that Bursa Securities had vide its letter dated 11 August 2022, rejected the Company’s Application.

In the circumstances and pursuant to Paragraph 8.04(5) of the Listing Requirements, please be informed that:

1. The trading in the securities of MPCORP will be suspended with effect from 19 August 2022; and
2. The securities of the Company will be de-listed on 23 August 2022 unless an appeal against the de-listing is submitted to Bursa Securities on or before 18 August 2022 (“Appeal Timeframe”).

The Company intends to submit an appeal to Bursa Securities on their decision to de-list the securities of the Company within the Appeal Timeframe.

In the event the Company submits an appeal to Bursa Securities within the Appeal Timeframe, the de-listing of the securities of the Company from the Official List of Bursa Securities on 23 August 2022 will be deferred pending the decision on the Company's appeal. However, Bursa Securities shall proceed to suspend the trading of the Company's securities on 19 August 2022 even though the decision on the Company's appeal is still pending.

Further development on the suspension and de-listing of the securities of the Company will be announced by the Company in due course.
