Unless otherwise defined, the definitions used in this announcement shall have the same meanings as previously defined in the earlier announcement made on 19 January 2023, 15 March 2023, 11 May 2023 and 28 June 2023 in respect of the writ of summon and statement of claim filed by KWSP against JASB and the Defendants.
The Board of Directors of JCB wishes to announce that during the Hearing on the Plantiff's Summary Judgement Application ("Enclosure 14") and the Defendants' Solicitors' Discharge Application ("Enclosure 20") held on 2 August 2023, the Learned High Court Judge has granted the order in term for the Defendants’ Solicitors’ application to discharge from acting for all Defendants.
In view of the above, the Court has further fixed another Hearing date on 25 September 2023 for the Plaintiff’s Summary Judgment Application to be heard physically before YA Dato’ Ahmad Shahrir bin Mohd Salleh, in order to enable the Defendants appointing new solicitor in acting and to file a Written Submission for the Plaintiff’s Summary Judgment Application (if any) before the Hearing date.
