We refer to the announcements dated 25 April 2016, 28 April 2016, 31 May 2016, 1 June 2016 and 29 June 2016 in relation to the Proposed SCR to be undertaken by Tanah Makmur (“Announcements”). Unless otherwise defined, the terms used herein shall have the same meanings as those defined in the Announcements.
On behalf of Tanah Makmur, CIMB Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that Securities Commission Malaysia had, vide its letter dated 24 October 2016, consented to the contents of the circular and the explanatory statement (“Documents”) to the shareholders of Tanah Makmur in relation to the Proposed SCR under Practice Note 44 of the Malaysian Code on Take-Overs and Mergers 2010.
The Documents setting out the details of the Proposed SCR will be despatched to shareholders of Tanah Makmur in due course.
