The Board of Directors of Solution Group Berhad (“the Company” or “the Group”) wishes to announce the following leadership changes as part of the Group’s succession planning strategy:

1. Re-designation of Group Managing Director

Mr Lim Yong Hew will relinquish his position as Group Managing Director, effective 1 December 2024, and will assume the role of Deputy Executive Chairman. In his new capacity, Mr Lim will focus on steering the Group’s strategic direction and exploring new business opportunities. This re-designation allows Mr Lim to concentrate on high-level strategic initiatives, long-term vision, and the expansion of the Group’s business portfolio, leveraging his vast experience and leadership to drive sustainable growth.

2. Re-designation of Deputy Group Managing Director

Dato' Dr. Mohd Nazlee Bin Kamal joined the Group in February 2017 and was subsequently promoted to Deputy Group Managing Director in February 2019. He will now be re-designated as the Group Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 December 2024. This transition is a key part of the Group’s succession planning, ensuring a seamless leadership shift.

Dato’ Dr. Nazlee has demonstrated exceptional leadership and expertise in biotechnology and life sciences. With over 30 years of industry experience, including 15 years in executive management, he has a proven track record in strategic planning and fostering innovation. Before joining the Group, Dato’ Dr. Nazlee contributed significantly to the development of Malaysia's National Biotechnology Policy and held prestigious leadership roles, such as CEO of Bioeconomy Corporation and Chairman of Bio-Xcell.

His academic accomplishments include a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Queensland, an M. App. Sc in Biotechnology from the University of New South Wales, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Oregon State University.

The Board acknowledges Dato' Dr. Mohd Nazlee’s significant contributions, leadership qualities, and deep understanding of the Group’s operations. In his new role, he will be responsible for the overall management of the Group’s business in various segments.

The above re-designation ensures that the Group remains well-positioned to achieve its strategic objectives, foster innovation, and deliver long-term value to its stakeholders.
