The Board of Directors (“Board”) of the Company wishes to announce that the Company has on 6 May 2025 received a notice in writing pursuant to Section 281(1) of the Companies Act 2016 from CHENGCO PLT (AF0886) on their resignation as Auditors of the Company and their term of office shall come to an end after twenty-one (21) days from the notice date, i.e. on 27 May 2025.

CHENGCO PLT who has been the Auditors of the Company was re-appointed as the Auditors of the Company at the Twentieth (“20th”) Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) held on 29 August 2024 to hold office until the conclusion of the next AGM.

The resignation of CHENGCO PLT is due to the suspension of its registration by the Audit Oversight Board (AOB) of the Securities Commission Malaysia, which prohibits the firm from conducting audits of Public Interest Entities and scheduled funds.

Save for the above, the Board is not aware of any matter that needs to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company.

Further announcement will be made by the Company on the appointment of new auditors in due course.
