Unless otherwise stated, the terms stated herein shall have the same meaning as defined in the announcements.

Reference is made to the announcements dated 24 October 2023 and 26 October 2023 in relation to the above litigations.

The Board of Directors of KPS Consortium Berhad (“KPSCB” or “Company”) wishes to announce that in relation to the actions brought by SKB Wood Sdn. Bhd. (“SKB Wood”) and Kong Kok Wah (a sole proprietor conducting business in the name and style of Sim Kayu Balak) (“KKW”) against KPS Plywood Sdn. Bhd. (“Plywood”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company:-

(a)     all litigation between Plywood on one part and SKB Wood and/or KKW on the other part has been resolved amicably without admission to any liability against Plywood; and

(b)     a consent judgment dated 16 May 2025 has been sealed by the Sessions Court at Kuala Lumpur and was made available on 22 May 2025 to Plywood, which reflects and captures this resolution.

The Board of Directors of the Company wishes to inform that the resolution of the litigation above does not have any material financial impact and operational impact on KPSCB Group.
