Unless otherwise defined, the abbreviations and definitions used throughout this announcement shall bear the same meaning as those defined in the Earlier Announcements.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of SCB, Malacca Securities Sdn. Bhd. wishes to announce that the Company had on 26 May 2025, submitted an appeal application to Bursa Securities with regards to the notice of suspension and de-listing of the Company’s securities (“Appeal Application”).

Given that the Appeal Application was submitted within the Appeal Timeframe (i.e. on or before 27 May 2025), the de-listing of the securities of the Company from the Official List of Bursa Securities on 30 May 2025 will be deferred pending the decision on the Appeal Application. However, Bursa Securities will proceed to suspend the trading of the Company’s securities on 28 May 2025 even though the decision on the Appeal Application is still pending.

An announcement in relation to the decision of the Appeal Application will be released in due course.

NOTICE: The affairs, business and property of the Company are being managed by the Interim Judicial Manager appointed by the High Court of Malaya. The Interim Judicial Manager contracts and acts as an agent of the Company and disclaims any personal liability under any contract entered into by the Company which has been adopted by the Interim Judicial Manager and any contract entered into by the Interim Judicial Manager on behalf of the Company.
