- In the Matter of an Arbitration Act 2005 and In the Matter of an Arbitration between David Shen I-Tan (trading under the name and style of Arkitek Konsult Sabah) vs (1) Permaju Property Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Hardie Development Sdn Bhd) ("PPSB") and (2) Permaju Industries Berhad

Reference is made to the Company's announcement dated 12 May 2026. 

 

The Board of Directors of Permaju wishes to provide additional information in relation to the Final Award as follows:- 

 

  1. Financial and Operational Impact to the Group.

The Company will disclose amount awarded under the Final Award under contingent liabilities disclosure in the financial statements of Permaju Industries Berhad, pending the outcome of the Company's legal review and intended course of action in relation to the Award. At this juncture, the operational impact to the Group is not expected to be material.

 

  1. Steps Taken / Proposed to be Taken by Permaju Industries Berhad

The Company is currently seeking legal advice from its solicitors in relation to the Final Award, including the merits and grounds to apply for the setting aside of the Award under the applicable laws.
